As if the underline his achievement of being named Wanker of the Decade™ yesterday, Tom Friedman hits the pages of the NYT today to once again tout the benefits of a Michael Bloomberg run for the presidency - not to win, mind you, not even to stay in the race until November, but simply to bring up issues that wouldn't be brought up otherwise. And:

This election has to be about those hard choices, smart investments and shared sacrifices...

When you hear someone promote "shared sacrifices" you should reach for your gun.

Friedman's wanking reached the very heights of comedy years ago; now it's just sad.
