Good for the New York Times (and, as much as I hate to say it, Michael Bloomberg). This is telling:

Mr. Stearns’s “investigation” is nothing more than a political witch hunt, stirred up by Republican leaders and by a right-wing antichoice group, Americans United for Life, which now displays the pink ribbon on its Web site as part of a fund-raising campaign for Komen.

If Brinker and Handel want to turn their organization into yet another far-right Christianist group I suppose that's their business. And until the big corporate sponsors decide there's too much heat her, they might get away with it.
