The Thing Is, They're Losing And They Know It

Our old pal PA Rep. Daryl Metcalfe (R-ASuburbanHellscapeCalledCranberry), who in the past has called veterans of the Iran and Afghan wars "traitors" and has spoken approvingly of male rape, is now using his perch as chair of the House State Government Committee to attempt to amend the state constitution so that it makes sure those awful homosexuals can't enjoy/suffer marriage just like straights. Never mind that Pennsylvania already has legislation barring same-sex unions - a law that has never been challenged - and that Pennsylvania's 19^th Century-mindset and rural domination of the legislature (Pennsylvania: Pittsburgh and Philadelphia with Alabama in the middle) all but guarantees that this will not change in the near future. Yet here comes Daryl to once again try to stick it to some citizens of the Commonwealth.
