What's Up, Moonbows Bitchez! Edition

posted by gyma

The laptop is acting up today (AGAIN) so here's hoping it's not on its death bed.

  • "The Marriage Index" was recently released by the Institute for American Values.  Oops. Looks like our 'family values' are showing again.   Thumbs down.
  • Who knew that douchebaggery was making a comeback?  Thumbs down.
  • Joey Lombard recently ran for Mayor of Minneapolis on a record of having no experience so he was, therefore, uncorrupt.  Also on the ballot was John Charles Wilson of the Edgertonite National Party (ENP).   Wilson has had visions of Laura Ingalls Wilder, whom he believes is God.  Thumbs up!
  • The singing kids at PS22 will make you smile.  Love the facial expressions - here they are singing "Eye of the Tiger."  I hope someone looks up these kids in 10 years - it will be interesting to discover what becomes of them.  Thumbs up.
  • Carly Fiorina is running for Senate in California because she didn't run HP into the ground by outsourcing a gazillion jobs and because Barbara Boxer hasn't done a damn thing in 18 years.  Oh, and Carly tries to preemptively explain why she's a late comer to the, like, voting thing.  Thumbs down.
  • HaHaHa.  Sesame Street isn't as fair and balanced as FOX News.  Thumbs up!
  • Moonbows!  Many years ago we stayed in Yosemite National Park.  About midnight, we hiked to Bridal Veil Falls on a full moon night, hoping to see such a moonbow.  We weren't so lucky.  Thumbs up.
